How to add Name Labels to a FAST order.

1. On your FAST left navigation panel, click the link under Decoration called Manage Packing Bag Labels

2. Scroll down to the end of the page, and then click the button called Download CSV Template. This will download a file called “PackingBagLabelCsvTemplate.csv”. UPDATE: Make sure you download the correct template, there is now a specific one for multiple ship-to addresses. -NS (5/18/20)

3. In your browser, open a tab to Google Sheets and under the “Start a new spreadsheet” section, click Blank

4. Then click File -> Open. On the Upload tab of the Import File screen, either drag-and-drop the file in the space provided, or click Select a file from your device to choose the PackingBagLabelCsvTemplate.csv file you downloaded.

5. The template will open in your Sheet. Some column headers have an asterisk (*), and some do not. All of the columns with an asterisk must be filled out. The ones without the asterisk (Customer Order Id, Description, Design) can be left blank if you don’t know the information, or if it’s not necessary.

  1. FAST Order ID – The order ID that the labels will be attached to when you upload the labels. Please double-check this number for accuracy before uploading. If you are uploading labels to multiple orders at once, you can simply add the correct order ID to each row.

  2. Customer Order ID – An optional reference number for the Client’s customer. This field only accepts numbers, no letters or special characters.

    • **If this field is provided, it will replace the Order ID listed in parentheses on the label when it is printed. If you would like both values to appear, you may use the Order ID in the FAST Order ID column, and then include the Customer Order ID information in the Name column as “Name – Customer Order ID”.

  3. Name – The name of the customer that the goods are for.

  4. Style – The product style number

  5. Description – The product description

  6. Color – The product color

  7. Size – The product size

  8. Design – The Design letter in the Designs section (A, B, C, etc) that this product is being decorated with.

  9. Quantity – The product quantity

Important things to know!

  • Do not add, delete, reorder, or change row headers in any way. The preset headers must remain unchanged, or your upload will be rejected.

  • Each row must be filled out completely – partially filled rows will not be accepted and your upload will be rejected

  • The file must be in .csv format to upload. All other file formats will be rejected.

  • Do not include images or special characters on your spreadsheet.

  • Before starting to fill out your spreadsheet, FIRST verify that the information provided by the customer for labels matches the order in FAST. Frequently, products are missing or quantities do not match. Mismatches will result in a mis-pack at the decorator. The packing labels and FAST must match exactly.

  • Before uploading a new spreadsheet, FIRST verify that the order does not already contain packing bag labels. If the order already contains labels, and those labels are not correct (after an order is edited, for example), you must FIRST remove the old labels, and THEN upload new labels. This can be accomplished with the Remove All Labels button on the order.

6. When you are finished filling out your spreadsheet, click File ->Download->Comma-separated values (.csv, current sheet).

7. Return to the Manage Packing Bag Labels page in FAST. Then click Choose File and select your completed template. Then click Upload CSV.

8. Navigate to the order in FAST, then click Manage These Labels in the Shipping/Tracking section of the order.  Review the uploaded labels to make sure they appear accurate and complete.
